Passage: 1 Peter 2:11-12; 1 Thess. 4:4

WHY MORALY PURITY IS SO IMPORTANT:
1. Your sinful desires ARE TRYING TO KILL YOU.
2. Your behavior REFLECTS ON CHRIST.

WINNING THE WAR AGAINST YOUR SINFUL DESIRES:
We need to CRUCIFY THE FLESH with its passions and desires. (Gal. 5:24)
We need to WALK BY THE SPIRIT to crucify the flesh. (Gal. 5:16-17)
We need to SET OUR MINDS ON WHAT THE SPIRIT DESIRES to walk by the Spirit. (Rom. 8:5)

THE PATH TO MORAL PURITY:
Set your mind on THINGS OF THE SPIRIT so that you will WALK IN THE SPIRIT so that you will not GRATIFY THE DESIRES OF THE FLESH.
