Matthew 7:1-12

FOUNDATIONAL TRUTH:

Followers of Jesus must fight against the tendency to be JUDGMENTAL.

WHEN FEELING JUDGEY:

1. Remember you are NOT THE JUDGE. (v1-2)

2. Redirect your judgment INWARD. (v3-5)

3. Know not everyone is READY TO RECEIVE correction. (v6)

4. Consider how God TREATS US. (v7-11)

MAIN POINT:

Because God is OVERLY KIND WITH ME, I can be OVERLY KIND WITH OTHERS. (v12)
