Ebenezer Part 1 (Joshua 4:1-7)

Terry Coon, November 17, 2013
Part of the Ebenezer series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

The Passage: Joshua 4:1-7

Main Thought:

The MARK and POSTURE of a thankful person is one who constantly and intentionally REMEMBERS GOD.

CREATING STONES OF REMEMBRANCE WILL…

1. Be VISUAL REPRESENTATIONS and REMINDERS of when, where and how God has worked in our lives.

2. Help to INCREASE OUR FAITH in God.

3. Provide opportunities to SHARE OUR STORY with others about we have PERSONALLY EXPERIENCED the goodness of God.

4. Ignite a passion for PRAISE and SERVICE.

WORD OF CAUTION

To neglect thankfulness will lead to SIN and a JOYLESS life.
